Dimitroff’s Frame Shop was originally opened in 1950 by Stephen Pope Dimitroff in the Bank of America building in downtown Mill Valley. Around that time , Dimitroff’s was working closely with Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo, applying the wet plaster that Rivera used as his canvas In 1958. It moved to 173 Throckmorton, where it remained for 50 years until moving to its current location in Tiburon.

We are an archival frame shop and use only acid free mats as well as acid free backing, we carry all types of UV glass, acrylic and museum glass. and have thousands of samples to chose from. I have been framing and designing for 25 years and look forward to making your art sing.
